I feel like women in their 40s are obsessed with Espresso Martinis! I tried one the other night after our anniversary dinner at Bourbon Steak in Nashville and it was so smooth and delicious. I’m starting to understand the appeal! My friend who runs Wisecraft Mixology on Instagram came over the other night and we had some fun recreating a traditional Espresso Martini with a creative twist. Give this a try on your next girls night and see where the night takes you. HA! It took me to Morgan Wallen’s bar to dance and sing while my husband just looked at me and laughed. Enjoy!

Mr. Black Coffee Liquor

Mr. Black is rich with a taste of caramel. I didn’t realize but it is the clothing designer Ted Baker’s liquor brand.
Who is Wisecraft Mixology?
This is the name of my friend Clay’s Instagram handle. He posts stunning photos of unusual cocktails that are inventive, eye catching, and masterfully made. Each of his drinks are so well balanced. He has been so successful at this side hustle, that restaurants now use him to consult on their drink menu!
FAQ
What if I don’t have an espresso machine?
You can use cold brew concentrate as a substitute.
How do I make simple syrup?
To make simple syrup at home combine equal parts water and sugar over medium low heat in a saucepan. Let the sugar dissolve while stirring gently. Turn off heat and allowed to cool. Keep syrup covered in your fridge for up to two weeks.
