In a food processor, crush 2 sleeves Oreos until crumbled. Pour into a large bowl.
Gently mix the softened Cool Whip into the crushed Oreos. Spread the mixture in a 9 by 9 baking dish. Freeze.
After about 2 hours, soften vanilla icecream and spread over the Oreo mixture. Return to the freezer and freeze.
Soften fudge according to the directions in the microwave. Spread quickly over the ice cream layer. Freeze again, about 4 hours or overnight.
To serve, allow to sit out for 10-15 minutes. Cut into squares and serve immediately.
Notes
Katie's Tips:*I added sprinkles around the holidays for an added pop of color. After spreading the fudge, sprinkle on desired sprinkles before the final freeze.*You can you any ice cream flavor you like. Peppermint is a fun choice to make it more festive.*Regular Oreos work, but why use regular when you can have Double Stuffed?*You can use a 9 by 13 and I have in the past. It will just be a little thinner piece to serve.
