Snickerdoodles

Easy to maake sugar cookies rolled into a cinnamon sugar mixture-kid approved!
Servings: 40 cookies
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Dough resting time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 50 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • pinch salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt into a medium sized bowl. Using an electric mixer with a paddle attachment beat butter and sugar until well combined. Add vanilla, eggs, and milk one at a time to the mixer and mix until smooth. Put cookie dough into te refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Combine cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.
  • Take cold dough out and form small balls of cookie doughwith your hands or a cookie scoop. Roll the small cookie dough balls into the cinnamon sugar mixture and place on a cookie sheet. Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a drinking glass.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until just set and slightly golden. Let cool on a drying rack. Store at room temperature in a concealed container or in the fridge. Makes about 40 cookies.
