Chocolatey, warm brownies just calling for a scoop of vanilla

Ingredients
3cupswhite sugar
1cupbutter, melted
1Tbsp.vanilla extract
4eggs
1 1/2cupall-purpose flour
1cupunsweetened cocoa powder
1tsp.salt
1 1/2cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 by 13 pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Combine sugar, melted butter, and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
Combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add flour mixture into egg mixture until blended. Stir in 1 cup of the chocolate chips. Pour batter into the pan. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips evenly over the top.
Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes. Let cool and slice.

Katie’s Tips:*I use Ghirardelli premium baking 100% cocoa powder.*Be sure to let butter cool a bit before adding eggs to the butter and sugar mixture. You don't want the eggs to scramble!*Try adding frosting and fun holiday sprinkles for a festive brownie.*Be sure to check the brownies starting at 30 minutes.
